  DAT battery case refused

    Author:

Today thursday recordings started to go inlands. northern coastland
is very habited and therefore hard to find with this timeschedule pearls
or diamonds in nature voice covered by civilization and machines.

Maybe inland rough conditions on lava eruption areas will give us more
satisfaction of the voices once been but almost disappeared today.
Winds, yes they are the same with speed of 20 meters by second,
powers to fly a car out from teh road. We found them blowing sandstorms
at 2000 m above the sea level in Teides majestetic surroundings.

Crashing steps over the vulcanic paths, like walking over ice cubes. That has
to be remade as the rain and forrester police unterupted us and then DAT
ran off from power. That is a must. Steps in sandstorm by Agnieszka, lets see
the vulcanic soft sand compared to beach sand so much used and softened by
waters. Heavy rain turned roads into streams, maybe it dryes tomorrow.

DAT battery case refused to unload its accu, a screwdriver and spiral cork opener
solved the situation, so tomorrow we have power…

the north corner of the island

    Author:

Yesterday the recordings were very limited due the fog and rain.
On the afternoon we tryed once more an undergroud water passage,
but the power of the wind was lowered and the beutiful low hammering
sounds did not arrive anymorein Garachico.

Today Feb. 4 the weather showed all its different faces, but we escaped
to the north corner of the island via Laguna. later Castilla San Andres
and towards Balladero – a very curly road with smashing view – and there
it happened: a sudden wind stream for palmas made their branches and leaves crackle like bones in wind – never heard such a wind and result!

Then to Taganana and towars Benijo. Exceptional strong wind and massive
water voices when the waves crashed to the shore – triple windscreens helped,
but 4.0 recordings suffered a bit from wind. Sennheisers made it again!

On the way back nothing interesting in Bajamar, nothing in Punta del Hidalgo.
Maybe now northern coastal line is in our recordings…

  in El Sauzal

    Author:

On monday 2nd of Feb. we found a small restaurant in El Sauzal with nice
general voices. In Mesa del Mar we found soft waters hitting the shore
with strong power: we recorded up from 300 meters over the rocks.
What a beutifull harmony and disharmony at the same time. Recording was
done with long distance new Sennheisers. Then down the hill to close
the beach rocks wherer waves hit 20 meter high sprinklings of water and
foame over us. And the powers of the water were enormous strong and
even scary. What a recording! On the way back we saw Teide like illuminated
between the clouds, great view…

Water that is for sure one of the base voices, but what will be the others
describing this wonderful island.
Sun is shining now, lets see what this day will bring!
